A chat with Michael

What made you want a career as a financial advisor?

I fell in love with financial planning during my internship with Scott’s father, Stephen, while I was in college.  I loved that this career provided the opportunity to help individuals achieve their goals and dreams and that each client I work with is unique.

What do you like best about being part of the Signature Financial Planning family?

It truly is a family here at Signature and we’re constantly sharing ideas to make each other better.  Everyone’s voice will be heard when it comes time to make team-related decisions and that is important to me.

How do you want your clients to view their wealth?

As they see fit…That is their personal decision.  My role is to make the most appropriate recommendations based on their specific goals for the assets they have and will have in the future, implement the recommendations the client is comfortable with, monitor the strategy going forward, and make changes when necessary.

What are your biggest accomplishments?

Building and continuing to build my practice within Signature.  The most satisfaction you can receive in this industry is a heart-felt thank you from clients.  That’s truly what I seek and cherish most on a daily basis.

What do you love to do outside of work?

Spend time with family and friends…I love to play golf, travel, and attend live music events during my free time.

What are you passionate about in your personal life?

Surrounding myself with family and friends…That’s what my family and I do whenever we can.  I really enjoy exploring new cities and traveling whenever possible.  I especially enjoy visiting museums and art galleries, as well as experiencing live music whether it’s in an arena or small club somewhere.

What is your most memorable travel experience?

There are many…Either Maui, San Francisco, or one of my many trips to New York City.
